Township with a population topping 3,150, offers peace and quiet. Over the past few years
the township has spent most of its monies on road projects but it is now planning to
construct a joint water plant with East China and a bike path connecting to St. Clair and
East China. Demographics

lucrative industrial tax base is dominated by Detroit Edisons Belle River Power
Plant, Michigan Consolidated Gas Company and Masco Tech.
Shopping:
There are several stores in the township. Many people head to Richmond, Marine City or St.
Clair for shopping.
Parks: There
is a park behind the township hall with soccer and basketball facilities, playground
equipment and a picnic area with a pavilion.

are hosted by the township.
